The 67th Annual Red Mass
October 2019The annual Red Mass was held Monday morning, October 7, at St. Louis Cathedral in Jackson Square, offering up prayers for those in the legal profession - judges, attorneys, law school professors and students.
According the the Louisiana State Bar Association, the tradition "is celebrated all over the world, including Rome, Paris and London. The practice dates back hundreds of years and typically serves as the opening of the judicial year."
