Mission

At French Quarter Journal, we report on New Orleans' oldest neighborhood as a community.

Our team consists of seasoned writers and photographers, emerging talent and occasional guest correspondents. Each week, they pull aside the Quarter's velvet curtain and reveal its quirky backstage workings.

You'll meet some of the engaging characters who live and work in this enigmatic place. We'll introduce you to the artists, the residents and the street sweepers. Get acquainted with musicians and bar-backs, shopkeepers and chefs. Explore the nooks and crannies of the Quarter's venerable buildings with us.

Because everyone, no matter where they are, deserves to indulge in a little French Quarter state of mind.
